Education is an attitude that carries with it the desire to take on the world. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>L<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>istening to something, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>being touched,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> and resonating with it transforms the listener as much as the piece of the world to which <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>they <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>have<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> opened.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The sociologist Hartmut Rosa, in his book “Resonanz” <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>he <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>argues in favo<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>u<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>r of “Resonance Education”: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>It<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> aims to <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>provide<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> people with <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>an <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>insight onto the world<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>, such as poetry, history or biology, com<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>ing<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> into contact with it in such a way that the object transforms them.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> That an object enables them to hear and respond to other people is a prerequisite that we need in social life.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>Using the example of poetry, the difference between resonance and competence can be explained <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>well<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>: Competence is to determine the rhyme schem<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>e<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> and measure, to<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> interpret <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>literary<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> topoi, images and metaphors. To be moved by a poem, to be grasped and grasped by it, is something completely different. If a poem does that, it will come to our minds after thirty years, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>b<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>ecause we acquired it in such a way that it changed the way we relate to the world. Without this ability we <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>wither<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em> individually and culturally.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>To transform the world is the central idea of our study course “<\/span><\/span><\/span>von allem sein<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>“. The more world we open up, the more our children will be interested in turning their world around.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>There are still two places <\/span><\/span><\/span>available<\/span><\/span><\/span>. For dedicated and courageous people, who <\/span><\/span><\/span>want to assimilate<\/span><\/span><\/span> themselves into <\/span><\/span><\/span>this<\/span><\/span><\/span> world for three years!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
